The exclusive campus ambassadorship program of The Daily Star

About the Program

Welcome to Campus Stars, the exclusive campus ambassadorship program of The Daily Star.

By signing up to become a Campus Star, you will have the opportunity to write for The Daily Star as you represent your university to the nationwide audience of this publication. At the same time, you will also get to represent the country’s leading English national daily at your institution.

Campus Stars came into existence for a very important reason – to take all the interesting stories coming out of our country’s universities and share them with the people.

What Campus Stars are Expected to Do

You might know someone who has won or is taking part in an international competition from your university. Or maybe one of your faculty members is doing some groundbreaking research. Or perhaps there’s a food court just outside your campus selling the most amazing snacks that your peers just can’t get enough of.

All these are stories worth talking about, and as campus ambassadors, the responsibility to find these stories and bring them to public attention will fall on you.

Campus Stars are expected to source and write these stories. They will also help the publication source photos to accompany the stories. At the same time, Campus Stars will represent The Daily Star to their respective institutions and peers. From time to time, Campus Stars will also be asked to carry out various surveys as required by The Daily Star.
